Newfoundland, Labrador and the Cabot Trail


Three Provinces in one tour! Nova Scotia: Halifax-city tour and visit to the Citadel Hill; the once thriving gold-mining town of Sherbrooke and its recreated Village; Baddeck for the Alexander Graham Bell Museum; Cape Breton for the scenic Cabot Trail and Cheticamp, famous for its hooked rugs and Sydney to catch the ferry for the crossing to Newfoundland. Newfoundland: Captain Cook Memorial in Curling, Gros Morne National Park for its views and unique geological formations, Plum Point for its Lighthouse and Port-au-Choix for its archeological findings; L'Anse aux Meadows—the only Viking settlement in North America; Gander, Terra Nova National Park, the capital St. John's, Witless Bay (for whales and puffins) and Labrador: ferry crossing to visit Red Bay, a Basque whaling center.
